WHY Learning Collaborative Brings Healthcare Leaders Together to Advance Workforce Well-Being

The South Carolina Hospital Association (SCHA), through its Work.Harmony.You. (WHY) initiative, partnered with the MUSC Center for Workplace Well-being on October 29 to host an in-person Reimagining WHY Learning Collaborative focused on “Healthcare Workforce Well-Being: Lessons from the Field.”

Held at the MUSC Wellness Center in Charleston, the event brought together healthcare leaders and workforce well-being professionals from across South Carolina for a day of learning, connection, and collaboration. Participants explored strategies to support workforce well-being, strengthen organizational culture, and address the challenges impacting healthcare professionals today.

The program featured insights from MUSC on advancing workforce well-being at the enterprise level, lessons from the Dr. Lorna Breen Foundation, and panel discussions highlighting real-world approaches to improving the healthcare workforce experience. Attendees also had opportunities to share ideas, learn from peers, and discuss strategies that can be adapted within their own organizations.

Through the Reimagining WHY Learning Collaborative, SCHA continues to create opportunities for healthcare organizations to learn from one another, share promising practices, and advance meaningful solutions that support the well-being and retention of South Carolina’s healthcare workforce.

Thank you to MUSC and all of our presenters and participants for making this collaborative a meaningful day of learning and connection!
